Description

"Your block tool is the best friend for dealing with problems, use it wisely and block anyone you can when someone is bothering you, harassing you, trolling you."

I think the sentence speak by itself, it is a true. Blocking system can help you a lot in dealing with jerks, but seriously, blocking someone just because he is:

:bulletred: Giving you a critique;
:bulletred: Being polite to you;
:bulletred: Telling you to take a stolen art down;
:bulletred: For not supporting art thieves;
:bulletred: For not obeying a pedophile; Tasorius2 is an example of that, if you haven't know.
:bulletred: Giving you gifts, points, Llamas, badges;
:bulletred: Giving you a subscription;
:bulletred: Having a different opinion from you;
:bulletred: Asking for help.

:new:
:bulletred: For NOTHING.
:bulletred: Misunderstanding.

For that you are abusing the blocking system? That is something what a 5 year old child would do. Blocking system is made for, to block someone when he is harassing you, attacking you, offending you, cyber bulling you, trolling you, spamming you.
If you thought by blocking someone means nobody will see your gallery, think again, they still can. They can also report your crap that you stole it, trace it, heavily photo manipulated and claim as own.

Also, blocking doesn't mean you won the argument, it only means one thing, he was right and you were wrong, you just lost the game by pulling a block card on someone.

I pretty much reserve the block list for the worst. Some people send me death threats and the like: that function is very useful in that instance. :D None of them is actually going to fly to my country to harm me anyway, and I have better things to do with my time than read their (usually long-winded and badly argumented) ravings about why I should die in their eyes. Even if the impossible should happen for some magical reason, and I run into one of those madmen, I know I can defend myself. Even if they're armed.

The block list is very handy when people just decide to bash my art: I'm not talking about constructive criticism or the like here. I'm talking things like rants about how my art style sucks with no arguments as to why, racist/antisemitic/etc. comments, and even worse: people saying how they want to rape my female characters. I tend to have absolutely no mercy on the last one, though: they get ONE warning. If they keep being a nuisance, they're on the block list. That's more of a personal thing, though: I know a few rape victims in real life, and through the fact that they've trusted me enough to tell their stories, I've seen what that terrible crime can do to people. Some of them are still triggered by the mere word 'rape'. I won't have something that I know causes them to have flashbacks or panic attacks on my profile.
